Create a Blog - the trendy alternative to a website

It's the collision of a journal/diary, a website and online PR.

What's more it is SO easy to create one. 5 simple steps

Why
- people buy from people, and a blog is very personal
- it can get you closer to customers
- it can start viral marketing
- it is a LOT easier than creating a website (and free)

Why not
- it is not a brochure or catalogue on the web, as that is a traditional
website, therefore it may not be as relevant.
- writing a blog takes a little bit of getting used

Some different examples are
Ideas-Warehouse - publicising thought leadership
My 'website' publicising my speaking
A discussion area for FREE process mapping software>

How to get going (if it takes longer than 10 mins then you're still
trying to decide on template)

1. Click to register with www.blogger.com who offer FREE blogs
2. Choose a name & layout/template
3. Go through the Settings
4. Get into the habit of "blogging" little and often
5. Tell everyone about it

Hints
- you can send blogs direct by writing them as emails and sending it to
a special email address. (set up under Settings/Email).... this blog
was created as an email on my Dell PocketPC

- publicise your blog just as you would your website - put your contact
details in the Description or Profile field

- there are more (better) template designs available, if you click on
Template and at the top choose Change

- think about Google AdSense to put ads on your blog and generate a
revenue stream

Good luck
